About the .sy Domain

The .sy domain is the country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Syria. Since 2009, it has been possible for foreign entities to register .sy domains, but only by using a local representative agent service—this representation is included in the registration cost.

The registration process is manual and requires the submission of several original documents, including a completed application form, a notarized and consulate-legalized request for registration, a notarized Power of Attorney for the local agent, and certified copies of the applicant’s business registration documents.

These documents must be submitted in original form, and the applicant is responsible for all related legalization and courier costs. Sample templates for the required documents are provided upon placing an order.
