.pt domain (Portugal) can be registered by a registrant from any country. It is also possible to register a .com.pt domain.

The rules for the .pt domain name registration of Portuguese domains are specified in the .PT Domain Registration Regulations document. In particular, the registration of names that are misleading as to their identity or that use trademarks belonging to third parties is prohibited. Such domain names may be removed by the registry without the right to a refund of registration fees.
